Where Does Your Money Go?

Your £1 ticket gets spent like this:

  • 25% goes directly into the Prize Fund
  • 20% goes towards the costs (staff; volunteer expenses; office space; travel; web hosting; accounting; promotions; VAT etc)
  • 10% gets paid to the local stockists that sell our tickets for us (boosts their bar fund at the Xmas party!)
  • And the other 45% goes into our Community Chest.
 

The Community Chest is a local pot of money that any small organisation can apply for. You may have a voluntary group wishing to take out their elderly residents for the day or some scouts in need of a new camping stove. Maybe a group of kids from the local school might want to set up their own youth group and need some help. Anyone can apply so long as it is for the good of the community and they are resident in Levenmouth as well as the money being spent here too.
